Kind of an interesting story here. Originally, I was going to have Maaco paint it, but they just wanted to paint right over what was already there. The more disassamble and prep work I did, the more they wanted to charge me to paint it, so when they finally got up to $2000.00 for a paint job, I finally said "You know what, $2000.00 is a brand new welder and a brand new compressor for me, and I'll do the work and when I get done, I'll really have something nice, and some new skills, AND I'll still have the tools".

I had no idea about how to use this thing when I bought it, but I knew someone who did..., my wife's father, Ron Courtney of McMinnville, Or., who was not only an award winning auto fabricator, but a paint and body man with a lifetime of experience. Ron was generous with his advice whenever I asked him, and saved me many long hours of bad experiences I'm sure. He volunteered answers to questions I never would have thought to ask. If it hadn't been for his support, this project would have been impossible for me. Thank You Ron!! My hat is off to you.
