It's a new summer, but I got started late, it was much too hot earlier, but now that labor day weekend is
here, I am ready to rock and roll. Here, I've sandblasted part of the frame that needed it most., gotten rid
of the rust, and am ready to repaint. For the inside of the engine compartment, I used Bondo 100% rubber
undercoating, for the frame parts, I used a textured bed liner.

As you can see in this and later photos, the tub is in pretty bad shape.

If your front yard looks like this, you might be a redneck...

This gas tank is rusted out, leaking, and very dangerous, especially since it sits below the passenger seat.
I will replace it with a new one from Cool Cruisers of Texas.
 |
At thsi point, the whole tub has been sandblasted and painted with textured bed liner.
 |
Again, If I'd had the time to do a frame up restoration, the body would have gotten a lot more attention
At this point, and with time constraints due to weather, I have to be satisfied with making sure everything
is solid, and protected.

As you can see, there are a few holes in the tub on the passenger side, they will get filled later on with
Bondo Hair, a particularly noxious substance that I will never use again.

These horrible after market gauges will be removed later in favor of the original, still functioning gauges.
