September 22 2005 - Hurricane Rita strikes

Been watching the news, do you think you are in any danger of getting a bad time from hurrican Rita? Tried to call, but no answer.--Jerry

I only use a cell phone and Sprint has cut off incoming calls to texas from other states. I can hardly call out on it either. It looks bad, but I am in the part of town that doesn't flood (the "heights"). I'm evacuating though, wood, guitars and all right now. I should be in Austin by about 4 am my time.Not going surfing this time. All my work and materials being safe are the most important thing. Thanks for your concern. I should have internet access pretty readily.
